Montenegro imported cars valued at €88.6 million

From the beginning of the year to 18 October, Montenegro imported 15,695 cars in the total value of 88.6 million euro, the Customs Administration told Dnevne Novine daily.

Of this number, 12,740 were used cars in the total value of 46.6 million euro, while there were 3,000 new cars valued at 42 million euro.

Used cars were mostly imported from Germany (a total of 3,540 cars) followed by France (2,483 cars), Netherlands (2,396 cars), Italy (1,390 cars) and Switzerland (952 cars).

As for new cars, the largest number originated from Serbia – a total of 1,256 cars.

According to data of the Customs Administration, there are 22 electric vehicles in Montenegro, that is, 4 used and 18 new electric vehicles were imported to Montenegro until 18 October.
