Montenegro’s Prime Minister, Mr Duško Marković, met with the representatives of Croatian “Končar” company, headed by president of the Administration, Mr Gordan Kolak. They discussed investment opportunities in the domain of energy, transport and education.
“Montenegro has recorded respectable economic growth rates over the past three years. We’ve improved business environment and we continuously work on the improvement of public administration efficiency. In the energy sector, we shifted our focus to renewable energy sources where we have enormous potential for sustainable development”, Mr Marković said.
Mr Kolak taked about his company. “Končar” company was established 99 years ago and it operates in over 50 countries in the world. “Končar” expresses interest in stronger investment and revitalization of infrastructure in hydro energy facilities.
The company would also like to contribute to electricity distribution, railway transport and infrastructure.
Mr Marković added that investment cycle in Montenegrin energy for the next five years was estimated to be over €300 million. PM said that presence of great companies was very important for Montenegro.
