Montenegro reports 134 new virus cases, one more death

Another person aged 73 from the town of Herceg Novi, treated in the Meljine hospital, has died of Covid-19 today. In the last 24 hours, 282 patients beat the virus, stated the Public Health Institute. There are currently 3.409 active cases, i.e. 541 infections per 100K people.

“Labs of the Public Health Institute pulled 572 samples for PCR testing in the last 24 hours. A total of 134 new cases were recorded,” the Institute said.

New cases are from Podgorica 51, Pljevlja 33, Kotor 11, Nikšić 9, Bar 8, Cetinje 7, Rožaje 6, Bijelo Polje 4, Berane 3, Budva 1 and Ulcinj 1.

The total death toll of the coronavirus from the beginning of June stands at 155, i.e. 164 since the pandemic started in March.
