Montenegro soldiers went to Norway for major NATO exercise

A part of the Montenegrin soldiers, led by captain Danko Kovačević, went to Norway to take part in the NATO-led military exercise “Trident Juncture 18”.

The rest will join them during next week, reported the Ministry of Defense.

The Army of Montenegro will send 33 soldiers in total to take part in this exercise.

The main part our forces is the infantry division consisting of 27 soldiers and it will be part of the Slovenian troops, while the one from the First Infantry Company comes from Nikšić.

This NATO’s largest-ever drill will come between 25 October and 7 November, it will cover Iceland, as well as the airspace of Finland and Sweden.
