Montenegro’s national flag carrier owes €616.000 to Airports of Montenegro

Air Montenegro

Montenegro’s national flag carrier owes €616.000 to Airports of Montenegro for providing airport services, the documents that the Pobjeda newspaper had the insight into say.

They made this debt in more than two months, that is, from 10 June, when the new state-owned airline started operating commercial flights. Representatives of Air Montenegro didn’t answer calls from Pobjeda yesterday to explain why they haven’t paid their debts yet and how they’re going to do it.

Pobjeda also wanted to know whether there’s any contract with Airports of Montenegro tackling the manner of providing services to them as well as the price of calculating airport fees.

Airports of Montenegro responded to these questions neither, just unofficially said that negotiations over business cooperation with the national flag carrier are underway and for now they can’t tell more.
