If the breakdown of trust in government run by Mr Zdravko Krivokapic happens, two solutions are possible: new elections or the President of Montenegro, Mr Milo Djukanovic, may nominate a new candidate for prime minister-designate, a lawyer and ex-minister of justice, Mr Dragan Soc, tells Dan daily.
He further explains that the new prime minister-designate doesn’t necessarily mean the new government, as he/she may be unsuccessful in performing affairs and new elections may happen.
In addition, leaders of the Democratic Front, DF, claim that a new election is likely to happen if an agreement between the government and the parliamentary majority fails to be reached, adding that PM Krivokapic should raise the issue of trust in government by himself. They said this after the Prime Minister failed to sign the fundamental agreement with the Serbian Orthodox Church, SPC, underlining that the DF doesn’t trust him anymore.
