Podgorica High Court is considering issuing a new indictment against Vladimir Ulama (24) and Darko Mijovic (26), who are charged with aggravated murder of Nemanja Medin. The indictment against Bogdan Milic, who is charged with assisting in the commission of the crime, is being considered as well.

Within a legal period of 15 days, the court will decide on a new indictment which was submitted to the court on 19 July. This is the second consideration of the indictment, because the one filed on 29 March was returned to the High State Prosecutor’s Office to complement the investigation.

State prosecutor Zeljko Tomkovic presented new expert witness’ statements and new pieces of evidence against the accused.

However, the defendants’ attorney Branko Andjelic claims the new indictment is not different from the previous one. Therefore he does not understand how the court accepted the new one, when it returned the previous one for revision.

Ulama and Mijovic said they had nothing to add to previously presented defence.

The first indictment was issued in February and the second in July this year.

The prosecutor’s office suspects that the Ulama and Mijovic had several phone contacts with Medin on the day when he disappeared and inviting him to come to Virpazar to trade some weapons. After that, according to the indictment, they required him to do something which he refused. After that they allegedly killed Medin and hid the body at an unknown place.
