Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) will hold the 8th Party Congress tomorrow. We believe that Montenegro has never seen such an impressive gathering in our history. The Congress will bring together more than 3.000 invitees from Montenegro and abroad , said DPS member, Mr Andrija Nikolić.
He says that 598 delegates will take part in the working part of the Congress. Delegates will elect president of the Party, Main Committee, Statutory Commission and Supervision Committee.
“It would be very difficult to determine what the political specificity of DPS is. DPS has instilled itself in the renewal of Montenegro’s independence, preservation of peace and multi-ethnic harmony”, says Mr Nikolić.
According to him, it is not usual that a party in the region and in Europe dominates political stage in such a powerful way.
“The reason is only one- people trusted us and we have always been more current than our political competition. We introduced changes in our policy in due time. No other party has had such strong fluctuation of political staff”, says Mr Nikolić.
Mr Nikolić says that tomorrow’s Congress will be another confirmation of the domination and superiority of DPS.
