Careful! There are frauds.

Citizens should also be warned of many frauds and misinformation.

Media have been publishing information about the introduction of specific facilities for the employment of residents of Western Balkans. Social networks and the media are buzzing that people will be able to enter Germany and work there without passport or visa. Thousands of people easily believed such media writings. However, Employment Agency of Montenegro made it clear – Germany doesn’t plan to provide any facilities for the residents of the countries that aren’t EU members. There lies the danger.

“Very often citizens turn out to be victims of misinformation or financial or work exploitation. We want to point this out – no matter what country person wants to go to, he/she should inform about the visa regime in diplomatic and consular representative offices of those countries. Also, there’s a guide “How to protect if you want to employ abroad” and it’s available on our website”, says our interlocutor.

She reminds that the Employment Agency of Montenegro cannot mediate between Montenegrin citizens and foreign employers. The role of the Agency is to inform the citizens about their rights and duties.
