Novović: Abazović, a Green populist

The winner of the September parliamentary elections, as he triumphantly calls himself, the leader of Civic Movement URA, Mr Dritan Abazović, demonstrated yesterday his ignorance and the rich spectrum of ideas of Green populism, noted a DPS parliamentary candidate, Mr Radule Novović.

“After his speech, it became clear that Dritan Abazović, with the persuasiveness with which he defended green ideas, would not be seriously considered in the juries that decide on texts on that topic, and even less likely in political circles that advocate for a cleaner planet. Abazović made a range of serious political mistakes last night concerning the country’s security and his understanding of environmental pollution,” Mr Novović said.

Firstly, he suggested that our Army should save the environment and do the trainings in the region.

“By saying this, Abazović sent a message that the Army of Montenegro cannot do the exercises on its own territory, thus undermining its integrity and the integrity of its managerial and intelligence structures.”

Secondly, according to him, Mr Abazović confirmed the status of a Green populist with his statements for TV Vijesti. He first said that the Army, instead on its own, could train on someone else’s territory in the region.

Thirdly, Mr Abazović showed he had misused green ideas just to be able to carry out his current goals.

“That’s what his mentor and professors from Sarajevo warned him about. It was clear to them that he would drop everything he’d learned just to come to power.”
