“Any attempt to replace the mechanisms agreed in the previous period related to judiciary and the Prosecutor’s Office with something that could bring Montenegro back to the period of much more critical reports in Brussels will not be well evaluated in the EU”, Tonino Picula, the European Parliament’s rapporteur for Montenegro, told RTCG.

The new government, he says, has the right to its decisions, but they will be under the scrutiny of the EU and NATO, Mr Picula stresses.
