As earlier announced by the organizers, Podgorica’s Pride parade will be inspired by human rights violations against LGBT people in the political context and spreading hatred towards them by the Montenegrin political parties and MPs.
This year, Montenegro pride route is longer than ever and attendees will walk along over 1 km long streets of central Podgorica.
This year’s parade has a novelty – there will be even three entrance gates for those who want to take part in the parade.
“First entrance gate will be in King Nikola Street, near Nikić M Hotel. The second one will be on the Blaža Jovanovića bridge, while the third, new entrance passage will be in Sloboda Street at the crossroad of Miljana Vukova Street,” Montenegro Pride, which organizes the event, said.
The event “gates” will be open at 4 pm and will close at 5 pm after which follows the parade’s program that will last until 6.30 pm at the latest.
