United States Secretary of State, Mr Mike Pompeo, has sent congratulatory messages to Montenegro on the occasion of celebrating Statehood Day.
“I congratulate you on Statehood Day on the behalf of the U.S.Government and American Nation. Last month, we marked the 3rd anniversary of Montenegro’s NATO membership and we are looking forward to strengthening that partnership”, Mr Pompeo said.
He pointed out that the USA “commends Montenegro for the progress it made in opening finishing chapter in the EU negotiation process.
“I wish Montenegrin citizens good health and a lot of happiness, while we deal together with COVID-19 and other challenges. The USA will remain Montenegro’s friend, partner and ally”,Mr Pompeo said.
