Coronavirus: A further 7 deaths and 275 new cases reported

Another 275 cases of coronavirus were recorded in Montenegro today, while a further seven people had died of the virus. The patients counted in today’s death toll were from Bar (5), Ulcinj and Nikšić. Meanwhile, 142 people beat the virus. There are currently 3.957 active cases, i.e. 628 infections per 100K people, the Public Health Institute announced.

“Labs of the Public Health Institute have pulled 734 samples for PCR testing in the last 24 hours and detected 275 new cases,” they told.

New cases are from Podgorica 115, Budva 45, Nikšić 20, Cetinje 20, Bar 19, Kotor 14, Ulcinj 12, Herceg Novi 6, Tivat 6, Rožaje 4, Mojkovac 4, Berane 3, Bijelo Polje 3, Kolašin 2, Pljevlja 1 and Andrijevica 1.

The total number of coronavirus-related deaths from the beginning of June stands at 292, i.e. 301 since the outbreak started in March.
