Last year, two thousand companies more than in 2018 filed an income tax return to the Tax Administration, this institution told the daily Pobjeda.
“Taxpayers filed 25,683 annual corporate income tax returns. These taxpayers reported income tax liabilities in the amount of 75.13 million euro,” the Tax Administration said.
Seven and a half million euro more tax liabilities were reported, indicating that the corporate tax base is expanding, but also that tax discipline in the corporate sector is gradually increasing, the Tax Administration explained.
The corporate tax rate is proportional and amounts to nine percent of the tax base and is among the lowest in the EU and in our region as well.
