Minister of Sustainable Development and Tourism, Pavle Radulović, is loud and clear – Tara river will remain the tear of Europe, and the contractor who committed the violation will be sanctioned.
He said this while answering the question of MP of DF, Branko Radulović, who wanted to know what measures should be taken in order to stop destruction of Tara at the construction site of motorway Bar-Boljare.
“The most recent report of the Ecological Inspection indicates the fact that specific quantities of sludge end up in Tara and cause its blurring. If this is the violation, I believe the contractor will be held responsible and it will be punished accordingly”, says the minister.
Branko Radulović replied that Tara is not a can that can be replaced from one place to another.
“State Prosecutor must react, NGOs. This is an alarm for the Government of Montenegro”, said Branko Radulović.
