The Public Enterprise for Coastal Zone Management of Montenegro announced the public call for renting public beaches on Jaz, Mogren, Brijeg of Budve and a beach on the island of St. Nikola. The initial price for renting beaches, excluding VAT, ranges from €1,700 to €27,000, reports Pobjeda, a daily.
There are 17 localities offered on Jaz beach. The cheapest 40-meter-long beach on Žuta Greda can be rented for minimum €1,690. Based on the public call, one can construct a beach bar on this beach, at an area of 6m², with no terrace. The most expensive beach on Jaz is the central one, and those interested to rent this 105-meter-long beach at an area of 4,140 m² will have to pay at least €26,951. As for this super expensive beach on Jaz, one can construct a beach bar over a 10-m² area, with a terrace of 100 m².
Also, two beaches have been offered on Mogren. As for the 130-meter-long Mogren II over a 1,082 m², a beach tenant might be approved to put an ice-cream machine and juice bar shelves, if he/she wishes to do so. The minimum rental price is €5,276.
