Representatives of caucuses held today the second round of consultations on the selection of judges of the Constitutional Court. It was agreed that the consultations would continue on Sunday at 5 pm. The initiator of the meeting is the Democratic Party of Socialists. DPS caucus head Danijel Zivkovic said earlier that the agreement should create preconditions for resolving the institutional crisis.

There were no official statements after today’s consultations, but the head of the DF caucus Slaven Radunovic said that he hoped for an agreement.

FORCA leader Genci Nimanbegu said that it was good to know that the consultations would continue.

DPS leader Milo Djukanovic said on Tuesday that the party could vote for one judge of the Constitutional Court if there was a willingness to discuss setting the date of snap elections and abandoning the adoption of unconstitutional laws.

On Monday, 12 December, the Montenegrin Parliament is supposed to vote in the second round on the election of four judges of the Constitutional Court.
