Second cadaveric organ transplantation was carried out successfully last night, at the Clinical Center of Montenegro. The patient had brain death and his family gave consent for the transplantation.
As CdM finds out, doctors had the crucial role in the entire process which lasted three days. It was completed last night, with the support from colleagues from Croatia and Germany. Around 30 doctors from the Clinical Center of Montenegro were part of this process.
“A huge work was done. We can say without exaggerating that Clinical center of Montenegro proved to be a European center and that it has capacities to carry out the most contemporary procedures and operations”, said the representatives of the Clinical Center of Montenegro.
