Montenegro must not follow neither Russian, nor Great Serbian nationalism or aggressive religious thinking that undermines Montenegrin religious and national identity, said the President Milo Đukanović.
He said that commenting on the statement of the Metropolitan bishop of Serbian Orthodox Church who said that the President of Montenegro has become a toy in the hands of Western-European, American and NATO empire, in the fight against Russian imperialism.
“Obviously, the problem of the Serbian Orthodox Church is that they denounce as traitor everyone who is not advocate of Russian imperialism, and aggressive religious thinking promoted by the SOC. Traitors to what, their interests? OK, then I am the one. Because I think Montenegro must not follow neither Russian imperialism, nor Serbian nationalism”, said Đukanović.
