Montenegrin Armed Forces will get six new, modern, light armoured all-terrain vehicles thanks to donation of the government of the Federal Republic of Germany. It’s about the German Mercedes-Benz LAPV 5.4 Enok vehicles, also used in German Army.
The vehicles are highly maneuverable and they’re developed based on the Mercedes-Benz G-class. They feature protection according to STANAG 4562 Level 2 against ballistic missile and donated vehicles are worth €2m.
Montenegrin Ministry of Defense stated they expect to receive the donation during September 2018. On the other hand, German Ministry of Defense stressed this donation confirms good relations between the two countries.
