President of the Administrative Board of the Parliament of Montenegro, Mr Ljuiđ Škrelja, scheduled the meeting for Wednesday. However, the meeting won’t be discussing the request for membership of Special caucus in the Committee on the Reform of Electoral and Other Legislation.
Mr Škrelja said in a statement that they couldn’t talk about the new members.
“The Committee is full. It counts 14 members and Administrative Board shall not delegate new members. The Parliament should adopt new decision on the extension of the Committee but it’s not possible due to the percentage of governing and opposition parties”, said Mr Škrelja.
On the other hand, if the Special caucus insists on one of its members getting the place in the Committee, some opposition members must resign. Parliamentary circles suggest it could be Mr Neđeljko Rudović.
