The proposed amendments to the Law on Spatial Planning and Construction of Facilities stipulate that planning documents are prepared by a company established by the Government, instead of the previous legal solution, where the drawing up of planning documents was managed by a natural person. This is all with the aim of better efficiency, effectiveness, liability for damage and professional liability insurance, Dan has been told by the Ministry of Ecology, Spatial Planning and Urbanism, headed by Minister Ratko Mitrovic.
It’s added that this Ministry will soon start drafting a new law on spatial planning and construction of facilities, and before that the regulation will be changed in the direction of protecting the space more and limiting construction, except for the one in the public interest. The Ministry explains that changes to this law are made by urgent procedure.
