Tamara Srzentić

In an interview for Pobjeda daily, the Minister of Public Administration, Digital Society and Media, Tamara Srzentić, says that cooperation with PayPal ended, as there’s another company which would provide online payments for our citizens and industry.

She says: “In the beginning of work of the government, we detected this issue as a barrier and decided to end cooperation with PayPal. Along with our colleagues from the Ministry of Finance and Social Welfare and the Ministry of Economic Development, we started talks with another company which would enable our citizens and industry full online payment services. Having in mind that the negotiations are ongoing and the confidentiality of data as well, we cannot tell you more about it.”

Ms Srzentić adds that within the project our country has been implementing with the UNDP, and with support of the EU, a list of ten priority new e-services, recognized as important for citizens and industry, has been prepared, while the services would depend on institutions and their readiness to provide them.

As for the business sector, they will try to realize the electronic application of employees, further development of e-business register…
