The Government has designed the Plan for optimization for the next two-year period. This plan means reduction in the number of employees in public administration, moratorium on employment for the next year, and the Minister of Public Administration, Suzana Pribilović, explains that not all 4.637 citizens who have contracts for a specified period of time will remain jobless.
Optimization plan for 2018-2020, which defines long-term and short-term obligations for the optimization of the number of employees at the central and local level, predicts limiting the employment process for the period of one year.
Limiting means temporary prohibition for the public announcements with the aim of establishment of working relationship, i.e. working in public administration. Of course, they determined the exceptions in order to enable normal function of the system.
“Therefore, exceptions refer to: intern announcements, replacement of temporarily absent employee, appointment of a person in accordance with the law, procedures which began on the basis of public announcements, engagement of unemployed persons with the aim of implementing measures of active policy, engagement in projects which are financed by EU funds or grants, season jobs…”, explained Pribilović.
This Plan got unanimous support from all members of the Government which means that the Government gave full support for the implementation of this Plan.
