Teacher from Bar faces disciplinary action

Ms Rada Višnjić, a teacher in the “Jugoslavija” Elementary school in Bar, is likely to face criminal proceedings. The institution has initiated disciplinary procedures because Ms Višnjić tasked her pupils with drawing tricolor. The photo was posted on Facebook yesterday. Director of the school, Ms Biljana Vukmanović, confirmed that disciplinary procedure had been initiated.

“Our school is not the place where political actions can be demonstrated. It is a pleasant and safe place for our children”, said Ms Vukmanović.

According to her, teachers are obliged to do their job professionally and in the interest of our pupils, in accordance with legal provisions. They are also obliged to protect children from any form of unauthorized and inappropriate influences.

“We won’t allow this case to cast shadow on this school. We are going to continue to cherish team work, in the spirit of togetherness”, concluded Ms Vukmanović.

Liberal Party Board in Bar believes this is a bleak picture of our reality.

“Using children as instrument in the current political discussions. What was called education and enlightenment is now called darkness. Any enlightened, reasonable man is obliged to say no to this. Bar has always been town of brotherhood, harmony and love”, LP representatives say.

The conclusion is that children in this case were used in the “fight” against Law on Freedom of Religion, in contravention of all legal norms and pedagogic methods.

And this isn’t the only such case.

Students of the Secondary vocational school on Berane won’t be attending classes today due to current events related to the newly adopted law.

Citizens are invited to join the assembly against the Law.

Organizers of this scandalous campaign are manipulating children as well, and that is to be harshly condemned.
