Thirty farmers applied for the grant support totaling EUR 25,000, under the public call for supporting farmers in the Municipality of Tivat, announced by the Secretariat for the Economic Development and Entrepreneurship.
“Applicants mostly required support for the rural tourism and beekeeping, and the support value in these two areas is EUR 7.878,63, i.e. EUR 4.267,61. The largest amount of funds will be allocated for these two areas, besides mariculture and fishing, for which we have received 2 applications totaling EUR 2.798,37. Therefore, the applicants will be provided with EUR 14.944,61 support in total,” said Radmila Kilibarda, an adviser for the water management and agriculture.
The 2018 public calls referred to co-financing of projects in the area of agriculture and tourism, i.e. for landscaping work of sites, garden, meadow or viewpoints within households, whose primary operations are providing tourism and hospitality services in the rural areas belonging to Tivat Municipality.
