Turkish investors are interested in investing in Montenegro and they believe in its future because it is NATO member and soon to be EU member, said Ambassador of Turkey Ms Songul Ozan during the meeting with the mayor of Cetinje, Mr Aleksandar Kašćelan.
Mr Kašćelan and Ms Ozan said that friendship between Montenegro and Turkey was very firm and stated that Cetinje was the best cultural and historical bridge between the two countries.
“Mr Kašćelan said that tourism, sector of small economy and trade were the areas that had most potential for investment from Turkey. Some of the many Turkish companies operating in Montenegro expressed their interest in setting up business in Cetinje”, it was said in a statement.
Ms Ozan agreed with Mr Kašćelan saying that our country is very popular in Turkey.
“Cetinje is one of the most beautiful towns in Montenegro, the capital of culture”, said Ms Ozan.
Ambassador said that Cetinje should intensify cooperation with Gaziantep, city with well-developed economy and industry.
