Ulcinj will finally get out of an impasse that lasted several months after Property Directorate bought the land between Galeb and Albatros hotels for €3,5 million.
President of the Municipality of Kotor, Mr Ljoro Nrekić, said that two or three salaries would be paid by the end of month.
Rekreaturs, a company from Bu7dva, blocked the accounts of the municipality for the destroyed facilities in K1 settlement 35 years ago. The account was blocked after Supreme court confirmed in March this year the decision rendered by the Court of Appeals. More than €2 million have been drawn out of the municipality account so far.
“Next week, we are going out of this blockage and, hopefully, we’ll start functioning normally again”, said Mr Nrekić.
Around 200 employees in local administration haven’t been paid in months.
In May, Rekreaturs company, member of Atlas group, officially blocked account of the Municipality of Ulcinj.
