President of the Supreme Court of Montenegro, Ms Vesna Medenica, announced at today’s session her resignation this week.
According to the unofficial information of CdM, Ms Medenica declined to be more precise about the exact day of her resignation.
In the report published last week, European Commission expressed concern about the manner in which Judicial Council interpreted the Constitution in 2019, allowing Ms Medencia to be appointed president of the Supreme Court for the third consecutive time.
