Vladimir Jokić was dismissed

Vladomir Jokić was dismissed from the function of the President of the municipality of Kotor, it was decided at today’s meeting of 18 councilors of the local parliament.

Apart from the opposition, members of SDP also voted for his dismissal.

President of the municipal assembly, Dragica Perović, broke up the meeting for indefinite period of time but it was continued after 10-minute break.

Bruna Lončarević, member of SDP, said that Mrs Perović had turned off microphones and left but that there remained enough councilors to vote and dismiss Jokić. Eighteen councilors were just enough for the presence quorum and the meeting continued.

“There hasn’t been any parliament in this town for a year and half, the government isn’t functioning. We can’t accept this”, said Bruna Lončarević.
