The president of the Croatian Reform Party of Montenegro, Ms Marija Vučinović, expects from the competent state bodies to activate the lawsuit she filed in May 2019 as soon as possible, as she’s convinced that she was illegitimately, illegally and without explanation dismissed from her position as the leader of the Croatian party.
President Vučinović was dismissed from her position as the President of the Croatian Civic Initiative on 4 February 2019.
“I expect that competent bodies will finally activate my lawsuit so that I can prove the real truth – that I was fired for no reason, as well as the entire team which created and gathered Croats in Montenegro and gave immeasurable contribution when it was most difficult to do it in Montenegro,” Ms Vučinović pointed out for CdM.
She also added that she personally, alongside Ms Ljerka Dragičević, ex-representative of Croats in the Parliament of Montenegro, paved the way for the political engagement of the latest representative in the Montenegrin parliament.
Regardless of the events, she will remain committed to the integration and development of the Croatian community in Montenegro.
“I’d been doing it persistently for 18 years and I will never give up. I must admit that it wasn’t easy for me if you look at the political events of the past two decades. There were times when it was difficult to say that you are a Croat. But, with the consistent implementation of our party’s and state policy, together with my team, I was creating and will create an environment for the voice of Croats to be heard in Montenegro”, emphasized Ms Vučinović, adding that no one from the Croatian Reform Party would vote for the Croatian Civic Initiative.
She also reiterated that the aim of setting up the Croatian Reform Party was to preserve its customs and culture, thus showing respect for its own and other peoples as well.
