Vukadinović: Government without DF, formed in some embassies, cannot be stable

Vukadinović

Political observer, Mr Srđan Vukadinović, believes that the future government without Mr Andrija Mandić, Mr Milan Knežević and Mr Nebojša Medojević, that is, ministers from their parties won’t be stable.

“In order to have a stable government, the allocation of mandates must be done based on the election results. If the Democratic Front won 66% of seats, it must get nearly two-thirds of ministerial positions. Those who won four seats get seven times less,” Mr Vukadinovič tells Dnevne Novine daily.

According to him, 34% of executive power should be divided between the Democrats and the civic URA movement, with the Democrats having ministers in a new govt twice as high as the political bloc run by Mr Abazović.

“We should not expect the new govt to be stable if the departments are not divided in line with the democratic rule. The government won’t survive without the DF despite the efforts. The three leaders of the DF have carried most of the burden of the opposition fight over the past years and no one should think that they would forget about it – they went on trails, their families were violated…”

According to him, corruption exists if two embassies directly affect the formation of the executive power and staff policy.

“The special state prosecutor needs to open preliminary enquiries over the possible corruption by some ambassadors and interrogate people who take part in the formation of the new government.”

The Democratic Front, he says, can’t fulfil promises given to its voters with an experts government.

Movement for Changes may become more important than the civic URA movement

Mr Srđan Vukadinović considers that the actual ‘importance’ of certain members of the ruling coalition may change.

“It seems that the civic URA movement controls the situation now. However, after the formation of an independent caucus of the Movement for Changes, things will change and their five MPs will become major actors.”

The Movement for Changes, he says, has clearly stated its orientation – an independent and citizens-oriented Montenegro – that every well-meaning citizen of Montenegro should welcome.
