Vukadinović: URA turns from civil to clero-nationalist party

Srđan Vukadinović

Political analyst Srđan Vukadinović says it is not surprising that the president of the Political Council of the URA Civic Movement Žarko Rakčević, academician Šerbo Rastoder, general Blagoje Grahovac, prof. Marko Backović, PhD and engineer Šefik Mišić have left the URA Political Council, Vikend Novine reports.

“Now, when URA has fallen into a big mud from which there is no return, it is obvious that he, as a responsible man, is finalizing his statements”, says Mr Vukadinović.

But, regardless of his resignation, Mr Rakčević will not be able to avoid the responsibility that a civic movement has turned into a clero-nationalist one and that it inherits value systems that are contrary to what Mr Rakčević and its founders advocated.

Mr Vukadinović believes that URA should not sit in the Montenegrin Parliament for a single second.

According to him, URA will completely disappear from the political scene as a political subject.

“It will be remembered as a great political disaster that hit Montenegro at a crucial moment”, Mr Vukadinović concludes.
