Water factory to be built in Danilovgrad

Government of Montenegro adopted the concession act for granting concession on using parts of waters in Komunica source in Danilovgrad, for bottling, packing or delivering water for commercial purposes.

The intention of the future investor is to build water bottling factory for bottling water.

“The factory is planned to be built in the rural area. The investment is feasible and it will partially solve the problem of unemployment in this area”, it was stated in the act.

Maximum deadline for the concession is 30 years.

“Komunica belongs to Garča basin, where underground waters are of great capacity and where research works have been varied out. This area is sparsely populated and it is very easy to provide sanitary protection. The source consists of one 150-meter deep well. Analysis of water has shown high-quality. The water has certain hardness, i.e. increased mineralization. According to available data, the water has high-quality features. On the way out of the well, the water’s temperature is 12 degrees and is constant throughout the year”, reads the concession act.
