Duško Knežević, the president of the Atlas Group, yesterday told this Group will continue to manage the Hospital Meljine and that the Atlas Bank operates with no problems.
He told Pobjeda daily: “The Appellate Court overruled the decision of the Commercial Court of Montenegro on bankruptcy, which means we are still running the Hospital Meljine. The decision of the Commercial Court should be made in a month and meanwhile, we are to finish the bankruptcy case.“
“We would gladly somehow deal with the not-so-small loss if the government accepts to take over running of the hospital, or maybe to seek for a kind of a compensation. These are the solutions we have but still unofficial,” explained Knežević.
As for the Atlas Bank operations, he said the bank itself has high liquidity structure and customers have no reason to worry about rumors.
