Why do police mind T-shirts with image of St. Petar Cetinjski?

UP

Yesterday, the Montenegrin police interrogated for several hours three citizens who ordered and transported T-shirts with the image of St. Petar Cetinjski (St. Peter of Cetinje) printed on them. After giving statements, the citizens were released, but the T-shirts and the van were kept.

“Information was collected from several people on the circumstances of the procurement and transportation of over 1,000 T-shirts, and those people were immediately released from the official police premises”, the Police Directorate claims.

It is added that the police are checking the documentation of the seized goods, but they do not state why these T-shirts are in dispute. Opposition political parties call on the Government, the relevant ministry and the Police Directorate not to unnecessarily raise tensions for which they are responsible, and to do what they are obliged to do by law – preserve peace and stability in Montenegro.
