Until yesterday, citizens could submit requests to commercial banks for the fourth phase of the Thousand Plus project. As Mr Marko Čanović, Director General for Housing Development at the Ministry of Sustainable Development and Tourism, told Pobjeda, the interest was great, as many as 772 applications were submitted to banks.

He reminded that the public invitation for citizens was published on 16 November 16, and that the submission of documentation lasted from 19 November 19 to 3 December .

“Podgorička bank received 120 applications, NLB bank received 245 applications, Lovćen bank received 55 applications, CKB bank received 225 applications and Erste bank received 127 applications”, Mr Čanović said.

The project committee for the management of this project will review all received applications, and then the Real Estate Administration will check the data of applicants and household members and make sure they do not have an apartment or more than a third of the total residential building in co-ownership.

When all the data is completed, the Project Committee will compile a list of voucher winners, i.e. a list of priorities, and after that the vouchers will be awarded to the target groups as follows: 40 percent of beneficiaries whose family household member is employed in the public sector; 30 percent to married spouses provided that both spouses are up to 35 years of age and 30 percent to other users.

Mr Čanović reminds that households that have priority in this project are: single parents or foster parents, persons with disabilities, family households whose member is a person with disabilities, family households with children with disabilities, young people who were children without parental care, employed in the institutions that perform health care activities in the public sector and victims of domestic violence.

So far, 191 priority persons have settled their dwelling issues.

In order for the built residential building to be the subject of purchase in the “1000 plus” Project, Mr Čanović states that it must meet certain conditions, such as: minimum energy efficiency requirements for buildings that were built before 2013.All other details regarding this project can be found in the public invitation for investors and physical persons and legal entities, which can also be found on our website www.1000plus.me”, Mr Čanović said.
