Cheapest electricity tariffs in Kiev, Belgrade and Podgorica

Kiev citizens are paying the Europe’s lowest electricity prices, i.e. 3.76 cent per kilowatt-hour, whereas electricity users in Copenhagen pay the highest one – 31.11 cent per kilowatt-hour, according to the official statistics for electricity prices.

“Podgorica residents pay 10.02 cent per kilowatt-hour and is thus ranked 3rd among other countries of Europe, and Kiev has been followed by Belgrade (7.17 cent/kWh) and Podgorica,” the report of the Energy Regulatory Agency (RAE) suggests.

The official list lacks electricity consumption details in Sarajevo, Skopje and Pristina that are also believed to have cheap electricity prices.
