Eight new ski slopes to open in Kolašin

With the aim of implementing capital projects intended for the valorization of the northern region  of the country and improving tourist offer, the Government of Montenegro has concluded agreements on the construction of new ski slopes worth a total of €3.000.000.

Assistant CEO of the Ski Centers of Montenegro, Mr Danilo Novaković, said that “Gradnjainženjering” and “Inženjeringput” are engaged in the construction of eight new ski slopes, around 9,5 km long.

“Additionally, works on the extension of the capacities of the existing ski infrastructure in Kolašin 1600 ski center, which encompass construction of six new ski slopes, Kolašin 1600 will have a total of 20 km of ski slopes and will confirm its reputation as prestigious and competitive ski center in the region and wider. Once these projects are finished, Kolašin 1450 will have around 45 km of ski slopes in the forthcoming winter season”, Mr Novaković said.

New ski slopes will meet standards and norms of the International Ski Federation, will have fences for directing skiers, protective fences and signalization.
