Filipović: Montenegro has become a province of Serbian world; all those in power, including Abazović, strongly influenced by Vučić

Ljubomir Filipović

Montenegro has already become a province of the Serbian World, and all government participants, including the URA leader Dritan Abazović, are under the strong influence of Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić, says the CdM analyst Ljubomir Filipović during the RTCG’s Teleskopija show.

He believes that all members of the ruling majority, not just the DF, are strongly influenced by Mr Vučić.

That, he says, also applies to the Democrats and URA.

Mr Filipović says he does not expect the Government to fall, despite statements by the DF leader.

“All these statements by Andrija Mandić are pressure on the Government to employ as many officials as possible, so that they would not pay for their labour force in the next elections”, Mr Filipović states.

He believes that the election of Joanikije as the Metropolitan of Montenegro and the Littoral has not radicalized the situation in the Serbian corps in Montenegro, despite the “abolition of the former informal autonomy of the Metropolitanate within the Serbian Orthodox Church (SPC), which was achieved by Amfilohije.

He stresses that SPC is an extended hand of the Serbian state, which serves for the fulfillment of its interests in this region.
