Odbor udruženja trgovine

Traders are continuously and efficiently supplying the Montenegrin market. Although inflation trends, greatly affected by the war in Ukraine, are changing, food supply chain in Montenegro hasn’t been threatened. Flour supplies are particularly important and we must make an additional effort to ensure its procurement, it was assessed at the session of the Trade Association Board of the Chamber of Commerce, chaired by Jovan Lekic.

In the light of global trends regarding the mentioned crisis, the focus of the session were measures and activities in the market. The trade board also urged the formation of a new government as soon as possible in order to be able to tackle key challenges in the area of trade with the new ministry.

“The state has to intervene in these extraordinary circumstances,” the Chamber of Commerce says. They also add that instability and the rise in prices are to be expected in the coming months.
