Free public utilities for illegally built facilities in Tivat

Tivat

Owners of illegally constructed facilities in Tivat of up to 100m² won’t have to pay utility infrastructure fee in the process of legalizing their objects, whereas those who own houses of up to 200m² will have to pay 50% of total price.

These requirements have been envisaged by the Decision adopted at the session of the local assembly on Thursday, i.e. by the amendments to the Decision proposed by the Mayor of the Municipality of Tivat, Snežana Matijevic.

According to Matijevic, the intention was to encourage owners to legalize their facilities. The Decision also envisages that owners of illegally built facilities should pay public utilities in 120 monthly payments, i.e. in 240 monthly payments in case of residential premises.

Legalization requests may be lodged by 15 July 2018. So far, 80 legalization requests have been submitted in Tivat.
