According to the latest data of the Statistical Office of Montenegro (MONSTAT), the total foreign trade of Montenegro from January to May this year amounted to 1.0106 billion euros, which indicates an increase of 3.1 percent compared to the same period last year.
“The value of exported goods was 166.3 million euros, while imports 844.3 million euros. Compared to the same period last year, exports were higher by 25 percent and imports lower by 0.3 percent,” MONSTAT says.
The coverage of import by export was 19.7 percent and is higher compared to the same period last year when it was 15.7 percent.
