Negotiations of hypocrites and the politically immoral with a clown

They call him a clown – a political clown, incapable of running the government, while he says they’re hypocritical and politically immoral. Exactly these statements were the foundation for the latest Prime Minister Zdravko Krivokapic’s negotiations over the government reshuffle with representatives of the parliamentary majority.

Because the reshuffle means we’re going to have politicians in the government, and that means armchairs (positions), and that further means political power and that indicates to “we can criticise and insult each other all day long”, the only thing that’s sure are those comfy armchairs.

The public certainly remembers that on 16 June the Leader of Demos, Miodrag Lekic, called the prime minister a clown noting that he would not support him anymore.

But Mr Lekic went to the government on 2 October to visit PM Krivokapic and discuss the reshuffle. Following the meeting, the Leader of Demos said: “There’s a need to finally establish relations between the parliamentary majority and the Government”.

He said it after telling that PM lost his support. What a strong and clear position of a politician.

The same is with the Democratic Front, DF, which used to criticise the PM harshly, even threatening with the census, i.e. that they were going to undermine this government’s work if the census law was not to be on the parliament’s agenda by the end of September.

However, after the “storm”, it seems that the DF sees the opportunity for certain positions on the horizon, that is, the government.
