“The ties between Greece and Montenegro are very important and can be found in the depths of history. Our nations love the freedom for which we have made great sacrifices, not sparing the good of life. Together we fought against despotism and fascism. Our friendship is a guarantee for the future, in which we will continue to walk in Europe together”, says the Greek Ambassador to Montenegro Panagiotis Partsos in his interview for Pobjeda.
Today, Greece celebrates 200 years since gaining independence and the Greek uprising, as well as 140 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations with our country.
