Podgorica resident suspected of mistreating girlfriend for two days

Police arrested L.D. (43) from Podgorica on suspicion of maltreatment his girlfriend A.J., whom he held captured in the house for two days.

Namely, on 7 October at about 7pm. L.D. met A.J. in the Sv. Petar Cetinjski boulevard. Then they went to his house in the Dusici village.

After the quarrel, L.D. hit the girl in her head with a fist and then continued to psychically and physically abuse her.

He kept the girl locked in the house until 9 October, when he let her go by taxi threatening her not to tell anyone what happened.

After that, she received medical help and the incident was reported to the police.

“The basic state prosecutor has been informed about the event. He ordered arresting L.D. and bringing him before the prosecutor. L.D. is reasonably suspected of committing the criminal offense of unlawful deprivation of liberty and abuse,” the police said.
