Preliminary results: 29 seats for DPS, 28 for “Za Budućnost Crne Gore”

Three opposition coalitions, “Za budućnost Crne Gore” (For the future of Montenegro), “Crno na bijelo” and “Mir je naša nacija” (Peace is our nation), which announced cooperation after parliamentary elections will have at least 41 seats, according to the preliminary results of parliamentary elections held yesterday in Montenegro. Results show that “Odlučno za Crnu Gorus” DP-Milo Đukanović” has 29 seats,”Za budućnost Crne Gore” 28 seats, “Mir je naša nacija“ won 10seats, “Crno na bijelo”- 4, SD and Bosniak party has three seats, SDP –two and Albanska lista – Genci Nimanbegu, Nik Đeljošaj“ and “Albanska koalicija “Jednoglasno” one seat each.

Three opposition coalitions, Za budućnost Crne Gore, Crno na bijelo and Mir je naša nacija, ), which announced cooperation after parliamentary elections will have at least 41 seats, according to the preliminary results of parliamentary elections held yesterday in Montenegro.

President of the Administrative Board of CEMI, Mr Zlatko Vujović, said that on the basis of 88,4% of sample “Odlučno za Crnu Goru! DPS – Milo Đukanović” had 34,8% of votes or 29 seats, while “Za Budućnost Crne Gore” had 32,7% or 28 seats.

“Aleksa Bečić – Miodrag Lekić – “Mir je naša nacija“ won 12,5 % of votes (10 seats), dr Dritan Abazović – “Crno na bijelo” -dr Srđan Pavićević had 5,7 % (4 seats),  “SD-Ivan Brajović-Mi odlučujemo dosljedno“ – 4,2 % or three seats  Bošnjačka stranka – Ispravno – Rafet Husović” – 4,1 % (3 seats), “Albanska lista – Genci Nimanbegu, Nik Đeljošaj“ and “Albanska koalicija “Jednoglasno” won one seat respectively. “HGI. Svim srcem za Crnu Goru! Stood at 0,2 % , SDP – Jaka Crna Gora” – 3, 1% and two seats”, Mr Vujović said.

He pointed out that changes might happen.

“What citizens want to know is that three opposition coalitions will have together 41 seats. That’s out of question, but we should wait. In some situations, information of SEC will be final”, Mr Vujović said.

CDT processed data on the basis of the representative sample which counts 268 polling stations. So far, 265 have been processed (98,8%).

Results are the following:

  1. Social Democrats 4.13 %
  2. Bosniak party 3.80 %
  3. SDP 3.09 %
  4. Crno na bijelo 5.53%
  5. Albanian coalition 1.37 %
  6. Odlučno za Crnu Goru (Resolutely for Montenegro) 35.44 %
  7. Za budućnost Crne Gore – For the future of Montenegro 32.82 %
  8. Albanian list 1.54 %
  9. Mir je naša nacija- Peace is our nation- 11.94 %

Other lists have not entered the parliament.

“There’s possibility that SDP won’t pass the census, given the fact that error margin is plus-minus 0.33%”, CDT says.

DPS –  34,8 % or 29 seats

Za Budućnost Crne Gore- For the Future of Montenegro –  32,7 % or 28 seats

Mir je naša nacija – Peace is our nation – 12,5 % or ten seats

Crno na bijelo – 5,7 % or four seats

Social Democrats and Bosniak party have three seats each, while Albanian parties have two seats.

SDP has 3,1% or two seats.

Preliminary results on the basis of 87,3% of votes:

DPS has 29 seats, Za Budućnost Crne Gore 28, Mir je naša nacija 10 seats, Crno na bijelo 4, SD and Bošnjačka stranka three seats each, SDP-2 , Albanian coalition and Albanian list one seat each.

Mr Slaven Radunović, DF member, says that they will be stronger than DPS.

“But we won’t be able to form the government alone. We are going to call somebody from the opposition t join us in constructing Montenegro and everything we talked about”, Mr Radunović said.

Democrats and URA will be the first.

On the basis of 82% of sample, the results are the following:

After 77,5% of votes were processed, DPS has 34,8% (29 seats), coalition” Za budućnost Crne Gore”  has 32,9 % of votes or 27 seats.

“Mir je naša nacija” has 12,6 % of votes or ten seats, “Crno na bijelo” has 5,5% of votes or four seats.

Social Democrats have 4,2% or three seats, the same as Bosniak party.

SDP has 3%, or two seats, Albanian list has 1,4% of two seats, and Albanian coalition has 1,1% or one seat.

Mrs Nela Savković Vukčević from DPS points out that their party won 37,8% of votes, which means it can form the government with traditional coalition partners.

On the basis of 72,1% of processed votes, coalition “Crno na bijelo” and Bosniak party have definitely passed the census, said president if CeMi, Mr Zlatko Vujović.

“As for Social Democrats, they are pretty stable and above the census and we expect that they won’t jeopardize parliamentary status”, he said.

He said that status of SDP was uncertain.

“We must be aware that number of seats will vary and will depend on whether some parties will pass the census or not”, Mr Vujović said.

On the basis of 58,3% of votes, coalition “Odlučno za Crnu Goru Milo Đukanović” has 34,4%, coalition “Za budućnost Crne Gore” has 33,3 %, Mir je naša nacija has 12,4 %, Crno na bijelo 5,1 % , BS- 4,5 %, Social Democrats have 4,3%, Albanian list-  1,5 %…

Mr Zlatko Vujović from CEMI says that 49,8% of votes have been analyzed.

“It’s pretty close fight between coalitions “Odlučno za Crnu Goru” – 34,2% and coalition around DF, “Za budućnost Crne Gore” – 33,7%. The situation is changing every minute”, Mr Vujović points out.

Coalition around Aleksa Bečić has 12,6% of votes, coalition around URA has 5%, BP has 4,4%, SD has 4,3%, SDP has 3%…

“Albanian coalition Jednoglasno” now has 1,1%, Albanian list – 1,4 %”, Mr Vujović said.

Holder of “Za budućnost Crne Gore” list, Mr Zdravko Krivokapić , called on citizens to stay at their homes and celebrate the victory with friends.

CEMI legal team received 702 irregularities which mostly referred to the violation of the secrecy of ballot, violation of measures of NCB, taking photos of a ballot, speaking publicly about voting…

A total of 540.026 citizens had right to vote.

These were the 11th parliamentary elections since the establishment of multi-party system and the 5th since restoration of Montenegro’s independence.

The last parliamentary elections in Montenegro were held on 16 October, 2016.

Around 2.089 observers, 265 of whom were foreign, observed the parliamentary elections.
