Montenegro’s Prime Minister, Mr Duško Marković, received in farewell visit Ms Alison Kemp, British Ambassador to Montenegro. On this occasion, they both stated that bilateral relations between Montenegro and the UK were very stable.
The UK will continue to support Montenegro’s Euro-Atlantic vision as it is important for security and stability in Montenegro and in the WB.
“I would like to express my gratitude for the efforts you put in strengthening bilateral relations between our countries”, Mr Marković said.
He added that it was very important to strengthen economic cooperation and investment potentials to which signing of the Agreement on partnership, trade and cooperation between the UK and Montenegro should help.
Ambassador Kemp said that she wanted to encourage further reforms in Montenegro and pointed at the need for stronger social inclusion.
She added that UK had supported Montenegro in fight against COVID-19 and that it was willing to help social and economic recovery of our country.
