Small-scale hydro power plants, being the privileged electricity producers, will produce 94.8 gigawatt-hours of electricity in 2019, which is by 10% higher compared to this year’s production, suggested the 2019 Energy Balance Decision.
This plan was adopted at the last week’s session of the government and it represented a general plan for all SHPPs.
“In 2017, due to drought, 61% of the overall plan was implemented, while this year, due to favorable hydrological circumstances, 23% of the base plan estimate was exceeded,” reported Dnevne Novine daily.
